A hearty welcome to the launch of my new website!

I would like to say thank you for visiting my site, and welcome to newcomers and return clients alike. In the process of reworking a website, the inevitable question comes to mind: ”why do I have a website?” The easy answer is that everyone has one, and therefore everyone expects you to have one. Sort of a chicken-and-egg loop, which doesn’t really satisfy as an answer. I refuse to believe that my business will fail or succeed based on whether or not I have a website. But I do have one, and so I decided to try and shape a coherent set of goals for it’s existence. I haven’t really completed that task, but I have a few aims: to provide a place to draw your attention to things I think are important in the world of health care; to demonstrate the varied and wide-reaching scope of this often misunderstood field of naturopathic medicine; and to have a place to ramble about what I’ve learned over 11 years of practicing and running a business. Oh, and I should add that I also would like to shape this website into a place to share knowledge. I know that there is a vehicle that may be more suited to that aim……. I think it’s called Facebook, or something like that, but I’m probably one of the last people in North America who is not on that particular social network, and so I’ll do my best to make this little site function in that capacity.

So again, welcome. I will now endeavour to focus my thoughts over the coming weeks and months to bring something interesting, or at least thoughtful, to the table.

In good health,

drjane.
